Project Presentation - DI Bootcamp Training (Jan 2008 batch)

Project presentation was conducted for the Jan-2008 Bootcamp Trainees. The Trainees were assigned with a Simulation Project - Ken Tires and it was scheduled for 2 weeks duration. This presentation was conducted with an objective to evaluate the Trainees understanding on the Business concepts and BI technologies that drives the Project. Each individual was given 45 mins. for an oral presentation with a supportive PowerPoint doc and 15 mins. was alloted for Q & A session by the panel members.

Presentation went interactive and the questions posted by the panel members induced the Trainees to map their technical understanding on business grounds. In addition to that the session also helped the Trainees to explore the real time business scenario & the key role played by a BI Consultant.

Thanks to the panel members for their support, involvement and also for helping us to meet out our objective behind the session.

BO XI: Essentials Training

An informative session on "Data Warehouse Appliances: Evolution or Revolution?"
This session helped the associates with the following updations: current trend, purpose, need and various types of Datawarehouse Appliances. It also includes the Architectural part of the DW Appliances.

Real time examples were quoted including the case studies of companies like PBG, Epsilon Data Management, etc which explaied the reasons for their switch over to DW Appliances like Netezza, Teradata, IBM, Greenplum etc.

The Case Studies were explained by the experts - Koilada Sridhar, Shanthi, Kaushik and Dhivya.
