Sathiya’s training in Advanced Informatica Concepts has given a broader vision to explore the concepts behind each and every informatica function. The major aspect of this training is to enlighten the trainees with enough knowledge which will helpthem run in their career and projects. There were suggestions to develop knowledge and the real time project experiences were also shared .
The explanation on Debugger, Transformation and Session properties and the educative exercises helped in analyzing each concept in depth. Performance tuning session with a brief explanation on each and every transformation function was excellent.
He has also focussed on various roadblocks that an ETL Developer would encounter in a project environment ,and the questions trigged on different Scenarios .

In addition to the topics covered, trainees learned many project related processes, Planning & tracking project activities, iteratively addressing risks during project execution and their appropriate solutions.

The DI Certification test was conducted on the 25th of August, 2007 between 9:00am to 6:00pm. This was the first attempt for the 16 trainees of the July 2007 batch. In addition to this, a total of 9 resources from the previous batches also took it up.
The total pass percentage was 30%.
The DI Certification tests have undergone a complete change in terms of preparation and implementation.
