It was an intensive training program. It was very interesting and challenging. We could feel the attitude of trainers; they are ready to go to any level to clarify our doubts. Trainers apart from covering their topics, they covered wide variety of topics pertaining to DBMS, RDMS, DW, and ETL. Periodically Y.V. Anand and Sunitha ensured that all our needs are properly met. We had lot of freedom; we can approach any body to clarify our doubts. Question and Answer session conducted periodically inspired us to explore more. Some points that can be considered for future training batches …

1. In SQL session, from the very first day onwards writing query in a readable, properly formatted manner should be emphasized, because in college we used to write query in paragraph style. Exercises should contain complex functions apart from frequently used functions, complex logics that may enhance the understanding of sql.

2. In Data warehousing and ETL Session, initially we had little difficulty in understanding basic concepts like dimensions, hanging dimension, uni_dimension, junk dimension, ODS etc… it would be better if the trainer has more practical examples in hand.

3. In Testing & QA, trainer should emphasize on strictly following naming convention, maintaining issue log while doing exercises.

4. In simulation project, after project initiation trainers should ensure that trainees got clear understanding of business process flow. Trainees should strictly adhere to task sheet.

5. It will be very useful if we have Q and A session everyday or at least two days once, taken by experienced people, because Question and Answer session inspired us to explore and think more.

DI boot camp training structure is a fantastic one which not only teaches the technical stuff of working environments but also trained us on how to manage the personal and professional life. This is because this program provides the same heat of live projects. I would suggest that during training provide some time on trouble shooting of issues.
